I don’t know about you but I go to bed doing laundry, wake up doing laundry, and I’ve even awoken in the middle of the night to do laundry. And it’s just me and my husband!
Hi! I’m Lisa. Mother of three, G-Ma to five, and wife to James for 34 years. I have experienced motherhood from the view point of a working mom, as well as a stay-at-home-mom. Both have their rewards and challenges, but I wouldn’t change my experiences for anything in the world. Through all the trials life has thrown at me, the one constant I’ve always been able to draw on is my faith. Faith in an all-knowing, omnipotent God, who loves us beyond human comprehension. It is from this platform that I blog about life, its trials and tribulations, and overcoming these trials by leaning in and trusting in God’s Word to guide me daily, according to His Will.
Women are amazing people. We were created to be man’s helpmate. Boy, did God get that one right! In a single day we can be mom, chauffer, chef, nurse, and teacher, all while holding down a 9-5 and being Miss Universe to our husbands! The Proverbs 31 Woman has got nothing on us, lol. Is lol even a thing anymore?
Like the Proverbs 31 Woman, we support our family to the ends of the earth. If you are not familiar with this scripture I encourage you to read it here: Proverbs 31:10-31 NLT. This is a great example of how to be a godly woman so that God may be glorified through your life, but by no means can anyone be everything such as this ideal woman conceived in the mind of King Lemuel’s mother.
Follow along and leave encouraging comments as we journey through life on our quest to be our best self. I would love to hear from you whether you are a mom or not, married, single, or alive and breathing. Community is important and that’s what I hope to build here.
